You'd have to swap out the MDS lifters. I also think there subtle differences in a MDS cam and a non MDS cam (think I read it's in the ramps on the cylinders that shut off) but they spec out the same. I can't see how it would be to tough to use. Perfect time to stick in a 6.4 SRT cam Edit: I should expand on this more as the 09 engine is non MDS as its a 6 spd, the truck engine is MDS though, that's why you have to swap out MDS lifters

Are either VVT engines? Both? I dont know, i do know the Ram has 395 horse and the 09 chally has 375 on the advertisements

Are either VVT engines? Both? Every 09+ hemi is a VVT engine.

When did the quit MDS on 5.7's?
Kevin My 09 Challenger six speed had no MDS, I am not sure when the 6 speed received it but I am thinking 2011? Thank you Red

So a new plastic lifter holder from a non-mds engine will be needed when swapping them out.
