I've had issues with bad diesel fuel recently, dirty and water in it. My truck, 2006 Ram 3500 4 whd, has 126,000 miles on it now and it isn't getting as good as fuel mileage as it did before having the fuel issues twice in the last year What brand of new injectors, besides Mopar, are good, and is there any shops that are good at rebuilding the original injectors? I use the truck as my daily driver 96% of the time and tow a 24 ft 8600 lb enclose car trailer with a drag car in it a little each year, under 5000 miles. Thanks in advance: Cab

New Bosch is the only way to go. Do NOT use reman injectors. Put a 2 micron fuel filter setup on at the same time you replace them. Clean fuel is the absolute key to making them survive. There are many places to get brand new injectors. Take a look at injectorsdirect.com. They have very competitive pricing and offer good service.

Thanks for the help I see that Summit sells Delphi and Uremco injectors with a core charge so I'm assumig thier rebuilt I drive this truck empty 98.0 to 99.5% of the time so fuel mileage is more important to me than pulling power is, it has a little over 125,000 trouble free miles on it now so maybe it is time to give it some new parts I treid to look up the company you suggested and thier web site is not active according to the search site I used I did eventually find some other links that showed their location and phone number so maybe I will give them a try

Bosch - https://www.boschautoparts.com/en/auto/diesel-parts/genuine-oe-injectorsThis gives you the part number and can show you where to buy them. Rockauto shows a bunch of remanufactured ones, the two I would trust would be Delphi and Standard Motor Products. Delphi is an offshoot of Delco and builds a whole lot of high quality stuff. I'd be surprised if they couldn't remanufacture a fuel injector. For $407 each they had better be good! Standard Motor Products has been around forever and builds high quality stuff as long as you stay in their premium lines. R.

I picked up new (not reman) Bosch injectors for my CTD last year. When I was shopping at that time, I found the best deal and got good help from these folks: http://dieselautopower.com/I think everyone wants your cores whether you buy new or reman injectors as they are worth $$$.

I put the Cat filters setup on mine a couple months back. This setup has the water separator too. Kit has everything you need to install right in front of tank. Took about two hours because I was laying on floor, $250 free shipping. Injector might wear out but won't go bad because of dirt now. Cummins recommends these 2 micron filters but can't come out and say it, then they would be liable instead of FCA. What I read. Also it voids your warranty (you made changes to the truck) even on a non related issue.

I should add I have a 06 3500 4/4 too. The issues, 20,000 miles, new ball joints and need them again. 45,000 miles, trans bad, front clutches wiped. Changed the sol valve on vb and changed front band lever to a 4.2 was 5.0. So far so good. Heater box flappers broke, not fixed yet (have to pull whole dash out). Leaking back sliding glass. Steering box wore out now, they make a support kit that I haven't bought yet. U-joints wiped at 95,000. AC stopped working, haven't found the problem yet probably have to go to dealer to put on computer. Throttle position switch bad, ordered. Put those filters on to save the injectors (which are $500 each). Hope I remembered everything, 104,000 miles. Tires lasted 98,000 miles replaced last summer. Oh yeah, back door glass just broke by itself about a year ago. But it's the best riding-driving-powerful Dodge I've ever owned.

That does not sound good.
It really doesn't matter whether you win or lose… as long as you look good doing it!

Cab, if you have had to replace one injector, I'd be getting prepared to replace the other 5. You have to understand they have been subjected to the same amount of run time and fuel quality or lack there of. Do yourself a favor and buy NEW Bosch ones, NOT remans. They will not last...Period. I have a diesel shop and Dodge Cummins is our specialty. We quit installing remans at my shop due to the comebacks. I have gotten reman injectors from several different vendors (some very well known with the diesel crowd) with the same results. They might last a year or so but before you know it, you'll be right back where you started from. Low quality injectors in a HPCR Cummins can get expensive in a hurry. My $.02.

I replaced mine with all new Bosch injectors and a fast filtration and pump 30,000 miles ago and have had no more problems so far.
