Hi all my feul lines were all rusted when I took the 73 barracuda apart. Iam planning on running new braided lines from tank to mechanical pump on the 340 and from tank to the spot where charcoal cannister used to be. Does anyone have the size and length that I would need? Thanks Tim

thats going to be a LOT of money. you need either 5/16 or 3/8" line depending on what you have now. you probably have 5/16" (i dont think they had the 3/8" in 73 but i dont know for sure)

Check out inlinetube for brand new fuel lines pretty cheap

Thanks aarcuda you are right, i see even at the paddock they are cheap. I,m wandering what size I should order, would ordering the 3/8 cause me problems?

i upgraded my 5/16 to 3/8.

just need to get the 3/8 sending unit and block off the return port on it with a piece of fuel line hose a bolt and some hose clamps. Then you will need to change the inlet fitting on the fuel pump to 3/8". if you want, you can go further (like I did( and change the outlet fitting and line to the carbs to 3/8.

the new line goes in pretty darn easy. i was amazed because i thought it would be a pita. just remove the rear tires and jack it up and thread it through
