If you are "restoring" a car you should have the factory service manual as part of your reference material, the info you seek is in that. I don't have the info you seek though google might.

I have tryed but no luck.everthing so far has been a no brainer till this, i have all the hoses but dont know were to go to.

The three lines on the canister connect to the tank vapor separator, the fuel bowl vent and the carb. If the carb has been replaced, it likely does not have the fuel bowl vent anymore. The top of the canister has the connections labeled. Craig

How do i post pics of what i have,you have been great so far. I use Photobucket. Put the picture in the bucket and view it. At the bottom right there should be a panel with options on doing something with the pic. The bottom option is "copy image" or something like that. Click or hover over the copy image box until it says "image copied". Then past in your post.
