What are you guys using to reproduce the sloppy seam sealer in the trunk areas? Seems like everything I have to choose from is too thin to build up.

Try some brushable seam sealer.I use a cheap 1" brush that I cut the bristles to about 1" to 3/4".Slop is the best Available at any automotive paint store.Do not use 3M fast and firm. Do the same. If you the correct appearance it helps to drink 5-6 beers before you start.

For brushable I like Wurth. If you use a chip brush, you can cut the bristles shorter to stiffen up the brush and drag it across the seam sealer. The hard part is trying not to make it look good.
