Thats what they are, I really only sell them for hot rods anymore

Can you easily remove the extension where you hook the wires up on this one? I've heard of others mentioning this in the past where you can remove the black plastic piece where it extends the connections out and you will be left with just two simple studs coming straight out of the body of the starter.

that's how I did mine. it allows for more room .I can change the route of my wires. My starter wires go straight back away from the headers to the back of the block ,

I did hundreds of them when I was in the Japanese car game.

Exactly right, great design almost nothing else goes bad in them ever. Normally you only need to change the contact (79 cents)and clean up the plunger.


The reason I mentioned the plunger is the last one I did was one was on my son's Intrepid with 200k plus on it. The plunger made me sleep better. It was in pretty tough shape.


It may be ugly, but it sure is slow.

Girls comb their hair in rear view mirrors and the boys try to look so hard....
