Went out in the garage, my Craftsman socket that I use for mag wheels is thin wall.

I bought a polished chrome 4 way a few years back that works on my Cragars.
Otherwise, deepwell non-impact socket will normally work. You aren't supposed to impact the cast alum rims anyway.

My wheels are not Cragers but do have some tight clearance. I use a spark plug socket which is basically a thin wall socket (13/16"). Also a 3/8" to 1/2" adapter for my torque wrench. Fine as long as you do not use a heavy impact... which is not recommended anyhow as mentioned. Thats just what i ended up doing, part stores around here are useless, went and got the 3/8 to 1/2 adaper 6 bucks Done.

Went out in the garage, my Craftsman socket that I use for mag wheels is thin wall. That's the quick and cheap way out..The craftsman sockets work nicely...
