Just wondering....
Did all 440 sixpacks come with the sixpack coil bracket or were there exceptions. I'm seeing pictures with and without(standard coil bracket bolted in the correct place). What was the rule.
Just wondering....

They would all have the bracket on the left side of the manifold.

Actually it is on the right rear, everything is oriented right or left from inside the car facing forward.

You are correct. Right hand side aka passenger side.

Right....that's where I see all of them including mine located. My question is, why is it that not all have the raised "six pack"coil bracket. What was the exception...ie.. shakers, hood scoops,years...ect...
Alot of pictures don't have this bracket on restored 440-6 engines
Just wondering....

The bracket I was referring to is the one I posted from e-bay in the previous box.--------------------------I went back and looked closer at the pictures I was questioning and upon magnifying it closer...I came to the realization that they must have the same bracket but it being painted....it is hard to see with the air filter lid in place. Let me be the first to call me a dumb a--! Oh well! Not the first time.LOL

Gotta' say that's a beautiful engine and detailing is second to none. Nice!
