So I don't really work on small blocks too much, but I have a 360 I'm working on now.
Why doesn't that plug come for #5 main cap in any of the plug kits? I get all the other plugs, but not that one.
What size is it? Do these get sold separately or something???

Possibly because it doesn't have coolant on one side of it so not subject to corroding away?

Are you talking about the plug in the oil passage?

The MP engine block package used to include that little plug, P/N P5249261AB.

The above link indicates that DORMAN plug #555-008 is equivalent

Size = 9/16" x 0.250" high

Yup, I was talking about the oil plug under main cap.
And now 9/16's plug does ring a bell.
