Hey gang...
Looks like I'll be able to start on the restoration project of my Lemon Twist Superbird. The car itself is pretty darn solid with the typical trunk floor pan that needs to be replaced. The quarters are fairly good ( in that I would not need to replace them ). The question is; is there a source for lower rear quarters out there that don't cost an arm and a leg? Plus, seems AMD is on back order for lower quarter sections now..

I'd just buy a skin and use what you need. I think a skin is cheaper than the individual pieces! You could also watch the swapmeets, skins usually go in the neighborhood of $100. each. And you could use '68 skins as long as you don't need the reflector section. I wouldn't shy away from the Sherman parts either - they're pretty darn good in that area!
