Looking to help out a friend with a mild 360 build for his Aspen wagon. Starting with a stock mid 70's LA engine and looking for 325-350HP give or take, with factory heads. Maybe gasket match the intake and heads. What do you recommend for pistons and cam. We will be using headers, an RPM intake, a 904 trans and 3:23 gears. Looking for a driver with a little giddy up to it.

how far you wanna drive? theres a guy on Portland CL with a brand new set of KB107 +.030 for $150, plus theres intakes and guys up here with Comp 268H type cams, that in my mind would be a perfect built for that wagon.

What these guys are recommending is all good. If you don't have an engine get a 5.9 Magnum. To bad I'm so far away, I've got a good running 1990 360 I'm not using. Roller cam and 308 heads would make a good street 360.

Yeah Baxter61, I saw the pistons a while back and was thinking it was a good deal. At the time, I wasn't in need of a 360 piston, now I can't seem to find them. lol By the way, I'm in Keizer, so the Portland area is only 35 miles away. I'd gladly drive twice that far for a good deal! Can't wait for the Mopar meet at Woodburn this summer!

A couple years back I bought a 318/360 #2176 intake mainfold from you and had Dustin Ward pick it up from you while my check was still on the way. That manifold is on my daily driver now and I have a truck 360 in my shop that is looking to be swapped in place of the 318. I bought it from another Mopar dude, it was supposedly rebuilt once before (it is pretty clean inside) but I need to pull the heads to check the existing bore size. I built an E-58 360 for a '74 D100 a long time ago and used Badger 9.0 cast pistons and the E-brock Performer cam & kit, with the same manifold, with headers and a single 3" exhaust. I wish I still had it, but I traded it to my oldest son and he essentially gave it away.

The guy I'm doing this for has a gazillion vehicles on his farm. He's got an 89 3/4 ton van with a 360 roller motor in it. It sat for years, but, I had it running a couple of years ago. Sounded great, but, then something went belly up in the injection system. I think with a Hughes Whiplash cam, aftermarket intake, headers, converter and gears, it would make him a happy camper. I haven't checked, but, I'm thinking this engine should have 308 heads on it.
