Does anyone have any knowledge/opinion on how much "rotating" load a rack can tolerate?

I have a T-Bird power rack/new that I`m installing in a project and I can`t mount the rack high enough because of the engine.
So I have "off-set" the inner tie-rods up and forward 1-1/4" with and adaptor. They will be connected to each other with a link.

I see that some of the UNISTEER kits as well as some other brands do this too, however some have rollers to support the link between the inner rods, and some don`t.

So what I would like to know is can/will a rack tolerate the load being off-center unsupported??
