OK 1969 RR drums all around. Yes I know I need a disc conversion kit, but I had the stuff to get me through a few more seasons before investing. Replaced everything wheel cylinders, drums, pads and hardware. Now when I first go driving everything is great stops better than ever. However once it warms up after a few stops the right side pulls so hard I bear into the other lane or shoulder if I'm not ready to jerk the wheel to the left. Obviously not safe at all with 600 hp. Wondering what may be causing this to fix it in the offseason. Thanks for any ideas.

Think of it like a coke bottle, it will always move to the side thats turning less or the side that is braking.

it pulling to the right means the DR side ain't doing its share of the load (for whatever reason). Then when you limp it home what happens? A self adjuster might be on backwards but if it straightens out till the next time then it ain't that & I'd open up the DR side & good visual for starters

Well it grabs to the right. The pedal feels normal till it warms up then I barely touch the pedal and I feel like I'm going to go through the window when it pulls to the right.

Manual or power? & it is all good till the next time right? You might jack up the front & spin the front wheels by hand forward & work the pedal (grab a helper) till it acts up again then see if anything jumps out at you (& I am assuming the prob is in the dr front (as opposed to dr rear) but it might not be, then open up the dr front while it is up in the air

Crack the rf bleeder immediately after a stop, I bet fluid squirts out. Probably a bad hose holding the rf on just a bit.

Also check the temp of the drums when this happens, a dru that's warmerthan the rest will indicate a problem.

Thanks guys. I'll do some inspections. And see where to go from there.
