9 zillion.....seriously, this question is tired. There is no official break down of colors per model and year. There is just no way of really knowing unless all cars are accounted for, and all accurate info is given. Surely you can find out through galens registry how many are registered with him. Then you can say your car is 1 of how many. You would still be wrong as not everyone wants to register their car. I have a tawny gold 71, if that helps so its definately not 1 of 1. Not exactly a desireable color.

Um, you're a slightly out of line with your reply.

For ALL Barracudas in 1971, 3.8% were Tawny Gold. You cannot apply this percentage to just 'Cudas to arrive at an answer. That's 629 cars - US-spec only!

My answer would be FAR more than exist today! Those that survived have been painted a different color.

That said, there used to be a gold 71 cuda vert in my neighborhood that I thought would be great project!

Diego, I wouldnt hold my breath on those numbers. Anyone asking for a breakdown of colors, is just searching for a smaller number. Then again, if I sell my 71 I can now say its one of 629 per Diego (Not Ted) on moparts. This might work!

Or...you could say it's from the 72 Plymouth advance information bulleten sent to dealers. This number would be an approximate percentage.

More info on 71 Plymouths here: Dealer advance info

Why not give the guy the benefit of the doubt and let him learn about his car rather than automatically thinking he's going to manipulate the information for his own needs? I gave him information that came from Chrysler and Galen Govier. I wouldn't suggest something that would mislead anyone.

if you cut it just right you can replace a whole rotten E body trunk floor with just under a whole sheet of plywood . Better use marine grade if you want it to last
