Hello Could someone please help me. I put a new MP master cly on my 1973 Pro Street Duster. How do the brake lines run .Dose the front line on the master cly go to the top of the port valve ? And the rear line on the master cly go to the bottom of the port valve ? That is how I have them now . I had someone said that they was wrong .The front line should go to the rear of the master cly. . Thanks mosweethemi

You should check the M.C. to see if it has dual residual valves in it, iif so the one that ends up feeding the disc brakes needs to be removed and left out. If it has one in the front and none in the rear then use the rear for the discs thumbs Someone on here several years ago siad that the Mopar OEM K car M.C. where really wierd and had them(the residaul valves) in both lines confused scopeI use a #6 or # 8 self tapping screw to insert and turn it in oopne to three turns into teh brass seats and then pull teh seats out to see if the residual valve is in there or not scopeIt is a little rubber one way valve with a tiny flapper valve on end and nothing on the other end that the little springs ride in. IHTHs
if the reservior has isolated chambers the the bigger chamber is normally the one for the disc brake line. The last late model new Mopar M.C. I bought had a common chamber so I had to check for the residual valves shruggy

Normally the front brakes goes to the rear of the
master and rear brake line goes to the front...
if your running disc front drum rears... but if
you run BIG tires on the rear and skinny fronts
you might want to swap them.. the disc fronts
normally do 70% of the braking.. but with skinny
tires you want the rears to do 70% or more so
you dont just lock the fronts on a semi normal stop
wave
