I am freshening up a 541 ci RB for another racer and have run into a issue with the rings. This engine has 4.375" bore Mahle pistons (part # BBM350375F08) and "thin" (1.5,1.5,3.0mm) rings. The only mfg that I find with this size rings is Mahle. Anyone know if there are other choices available, or is Mahle the best/only way to go?
Thanks,
Brian

My current E85 motor has the same ring pak on Diamond pistons, the rings came in a Total Seal box. I think mine where Moly top, cast second non Napier and low tension oil rings for the vacume pump. I would call Hastings and Total Seal to see what they both offer thumbs

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
