I don't have any experience with Magnum Force, but I used an AlterKtion front suspension in my 5.7 Hemi Mirada, and I love it. It is a true bolt on installation, and it handles great. Bill made mine without the motor mounts welded up, as he had never built one for an FMJ body Hemi application, so that was the only fabrication work I had to do. I used a rear sump pan, but the Milodon center sump pan is said to fit, too. I used factory exhaust manifolds, but there is plenty of header clearance, too. The car handles like a modern sports car now.

My thoughts exactly. A street cruiser needs a $4500+ front end setup??? You can spend half of that by maximizing the stock setup, get great results with OEM durability. If you want to spend more than you need to, that is up to you.

It reply d lends onn yet your intentions with the car are. If your looking for a good cruiser with better handeling, then upgrading your current suspension and brakes is a better option. If your looking for corner carving, high speed use,, Magnum Force ''Transformer" is somethingthing to consider. From my experience with Magnum Force suspension, I have enjoyed taking a couple rides in a 1971 CUDA and a 1968 Charger equipped with them. Ride quality was superb and very responsive and not a"spine tingling" hard suspension I was exspecting. I'm currently in the process of finishing up an article style review on the MF suspension and hope to post it here soon ( would have been sooner, but laptop and computers crashed and now have to start over.). One of their great options is their ability spindle choices. Factory drum spindles, disc brake spindles or their '2in' drop spindle can be used, thus giving you so much more brake options. Also, being in CA can save you a bunch on shipping charges if you can pick it up locally.

Alteration in my Challenger and no complaints. I have heard and read nothing but horror stories about Magnumforce. Mine is a street/strip car and I did it to be able to run the flat bottom dragster oil pan and gain header clearances for big tube headers.
