68 dart came with tinted glass. Changing interior to a bright red. Would you keep the tint or go with clear glass? Any thoughts? Wayne

Save the tint and it will help keep the red interior from fading so much.

If that's the way the car came, then yes. Absolutely keep it. I wish mine would of had it.

are you talking about the factory light green tint? Keep it.

are you talking about dark aftermarket limo tint? depends on the rest of the car if it looks ok or not. I've seen an all black E-body that looked pretty good with limo tint. I've seen some cars that looked ridiculous with it.

Can you buy an aftermarket windshield with the same green tint? Or is just the top tinted?

Car has factory light green tint. I haven't checked on repo windshield yet.

Yes they have repo tinted windshields for many classic mopars.

That's a tinted and shaded windshield, the dark band is shaded, rest is tinted green.

unless you have 2 cars sitting next to each other with the tint and non tint, Id bet a lot of people wouldn't even notice it had the factory tint.

One of my green interior cars has the tinted glass, but it is still obvious the guts are green from outside the car.

Hey guys, Thanks for the thoughts. I was thinking that the red might clash with the green tint. Didn't no if it would look better thru clear glass. Might be like someone mentioned, wouldn't see a lot of difference. You no how it goes,no matter what you do somebody will always tell you it would've looked better the other way. Ha!
