hmmm a question for you ryan. the runner dividers that run into the plenum, you sure you are going to get good fuel distribution like this? i say this because my Indy manifold was an early unit & it had a similar look to yours but i had major issues trying to read plugs. 1278 plugs were rich as & 3456 were lean. i took my manifold to a porter that was doing NASCAR heads & manifolds. he played with my manifold for a few weeks & when i got it back all those runner dividers were gone. plugs are real easy to read now & throttle response is unbelievably better & all that was done was removal of the dividers.

There is a lot more to an intake manifold than most people
realize, including myself. These fuel distribution problems
are probably more common than most of us have the ability
or equipment to discern. I'd be intrested in before/after
pictures of your INDY manifold, just for a visual reference
to it's layout.

I use my EGT's to balance the intake, its a trial
and error process and alot of pulling the manifold

Would it have been easier to cut the intake in two, port it then weld it back together?

OK... I did'nt touch it today because it turns out the dyno operator is leaving for Florida for 2 weeks next weekend so I gotta prep this other 436 Arrington motor to dyno as well now before he leaves so I spent the day thrashing to get it together... We're gonna try to do your motor with the 436 in back to back days... fun fun fun.

Last pic you get until it's in your hands in Mexico.....

It sounds STRONG... we'll see on Thursday if it can live up to the billing of most powerfull NA INDY headed SB motor out there. If it's not the stoutest, it's gotta be damn close...
