Looking for the place that sells the billet water neck that uses an Oring for sealing..

Did a search and could not find it.. Seems like the company has an odd name??

Try google this "big block chrysler swiveling water housing" you should get like 10 different ones. Keep away from chromed ones i found they distort, polished is good.

I tried one of those years ago. Never could get it to seal. The billit ones leak also. Took Da Bee for a rid this afternoon and guess what the lousy billit water nick sprung a leak again. This is like the third time. I'm going to pull it off in the morning and replace it with one of my old ugly, but reliable iron ones. Those purtty shinny ones are only good for show poodles.

Interesting... Will be installing a new thermostat and thought about upgrading to a billet or stainless housing.. Maybe just keep the original on it that has never leaked...

My chrome housing started finally leaking this past summer. I got the Napa water neck for $6 and change and used a pink Superformance gasket with it on my aluminum mopar pump housing. No sealant, no leaks. up

After a (common) bad experience with a chrome over pot metal version I have used the low cost iron water neck with no leaks. I check/correct flatness of the sealing surface on a belt sander and install with a little bit of hardening sealer (Permatex #1) and common replacement gasket.

I don't know about the swivel ones but I've had three like the one posted by goldduster318 on three race cars. They don't leak. The base is thick and resists warping. The best part, I don't have to use any type of sealer on them so there's no clean up when removed.

Should qualify here that I am not looking for chrome or polished, just looking for a heavy billet or stainless that will not warp..

Not sure why I had the swivel parts in my mind, not at all what I want.

Sure makes sense about the Oring design working well???

Be carefull with steel and aluminum mix. The o ring groove/dissimilar metals action will pitt the housing and will eventually leak

I got the synthetic one and it seals perfectly on the aluminum napa neck and mp housing. The thicker one is for a not so flat surface I think.

That would be correct and thanks for your support willie!

I have even used the chromed pot metal housings with our MP-15 gasket without issues. HOWEVER...... the housing was milled flat. Even brand new they are warped beyond belief rolleyes
