I have a couple fuel leaks on my new fuel system that I need to adress before I go on a maiden voyage to get my exhaust welded up.

I have two spots where I have AN fittings screwed to a chrome shut off valve and also at my fuel pressure regulator.

I bought all this stuff from Jegs at the salesman's recommendations.

I was okay with no leaks at first but have developed a couple leaks as the car sat.

I tried to snug them up a bit, but not too tight and they seem tight enough.

Is there some kind of sealant that can be used to keep a better seal or do I have to start all over again, maybe with some different composition regulator and shut off valve?

I'm all ears, thanks.

You might unscrew them, blow them clean with brake clean, eyeball the threads for any nicks/damage,thread them together dry & see if it screws in smoothly then unscrew them & lube them w 30 wt eng oil. I drip several drops of oil on then blow most of it off with an air nozzle EDIT I forgot the most important part, check the condition of the flare & the seat that it seats against which is what is doing the sealing. Been doing NPT stuff too long. The flare needs to be perfect

Did not know this when I put my fuel system together.
There are two types of AN fitting. One seals with a flare, the other seals via o-ring.
They both bolt into each other, but won't seal.

If it uses an o-ring, it "ain't" AN, which IS by definition "flare."

sometime's you just need to snug them up, aluminum will crush a little and seep.
