I sent out the radiator for my 68 GTX to be recored. They did a nice job looks fine but it doesn't fit the same? It looks like I will have to squeeze the brackets in a bit and it seems set slightly lower than before? Is it possible the brackets were soldered in the wrong spot? I will be able to get it in but it just doesn't fit the same? Anyone else ever run into this? Thanks Larry J

Yes I had one recored on a 64 b body that I had to have the brackets moved on the core was to close to the fan. I think it is critical where they solder the cor in the brackets.

Glen Ray radiator is the only place that you can trust doing that.

I would drill out those holes so it is not in a bind and use large washer head bolts (like OE I think?)... or get it re-done if it is too far off.

Installing it in a bind may cause problems like leaks down the road.

Thanks We had to grind the the upper bolt holes slightly. With the OE bolts you cannot see it so I'm good with it. Thanks Larry J
