I want to paint the steering column, dash frame and other metal interior parts on my 71 Charger. What have you had good luck with? Also there is some kind of glue dried onto the dash frame where a previous owner tried to cover up a cracked dash pad. Any suggestions for removing it before I paint it?

I used SEM trim paint (black) I think it is a lacquor base looked very good on my 73 Road Runner. I did remove the dash blast it epoxy and k36 before I sprayed it to prevent fisheyes from years of armor all. Good luck

SEM makes Color Coat in lots of colors. You need to clean the parts very well and use their adhesion promoter. Follow the instructions on the can for a perfect job. You can use it on metal if you use a etching primer first.
