Making notes here for anyone who may benefit by searching. Not bashing any parts here, just passing on lessons learned and maybe save someone some time and energy.
The job took a lot longer than expected due to difficulties trying to get the Moroso solid motor mount (which I had on the driver's side only) to sit/slide into position. The Moroso mount isn't a stock replacement as it has no locating nub where it fits onto the motor mount bracket. So one can try to come close to the position of the stock mount, but I eyeballed it. No good. If someone wants to use one of these I would recommend measuring against a stock mount and trying to make it identical in location to the stock one. It does have adjustability built in, to it's credit. But since it's not rubber, there is obviously no give/flex like there is with the stock mount. And while you're at it, I'd cut off the bottom part of the "ear" on the mount to make it slide past the curves on the motor mount perch of the K member.
After @#*ing around trying to get it in, I pulled the driver's side mount bracket off and put the stock one on -- after cutting away some of the lower "ear" just underneath the welded nut. I am going to add a torque strap (since not using a sold mount) so I am not worried about the small amount of missing material. Once we put the stock mount in place, the motor slid right in.
Another issue we ran into, when trying to put the motor in with the solid mount, was that the oil pan sump (the popular Milodon 7 qt) was bumping into the K member. So I ended up cutting a small notch in there, which helped with clearance but still didn't allow the the solid mount to go into position. I don't think this would have been necessary if we had the stock mount on there from the get go, or had the Moroso mount adjusted to be identical (though as I said, I think I got it pretty close, but not close enough!).
I am using Doug's headers, D452 with 2" primaries. The motor has edelbrock E-street heads, and I'm happy to say the headers went on VERY easily with the engine slightly lifted. The drivers side from the top, along with the mini starter, and the passenger side from the bottom. No dinging required, and the headers work great with the plug location/orientation of the edelbrock heads. I really like these headers.

When I use the Moroso mounts I only snug the center bolt that holds it to the block mount. Then after I bolt up the trans and have the trans mount secure I go back and fully tighten it. By leaving it smug only I a able to move it a little bit to get everything to line up. Mines a 67 B body and didn't have any interference issues but the f frames may be different. I do know my brother had to do some grinding as he had clearance issues on his E body w/these mounts. We had potential oil pan clearance issues w/the drag link on mine, it had about .010 full lock out. Flattened the corner of the pan slightly just to be safe. This was w/the Milodon 30930 pan. Was this the same pan you used?

I used those mounts with the 440 in my Satellite... I did plenty of messing with them to get them to work. I never did like the way they fit. I finally gave up and went to elephant ears. It is so much easier now!!! I threw them in the trash after that. I wouldn't give those away!!!
