Was reading the Mopar Action tech on reducing the line pressure.
Do I have a Saginaw pump?

Thanks for the confirmation, I found some shims on Amazon.
I'll post how it turns out.

I'm hoping 0.060" does the trick, what value did you settle on?

Does anyone have a picture of a non-saginaw pump, for comparison for someone who doesn't know the differences?

Wow, so completely different. Looks like my truck has a saginaw box.

Thanks.

Ok, here's the update:

Added 0.060" shims as suggested in the Mopar Action article and that did the trick.
Steering is definitely firmer. Hardest part was doing the mod with the pump still on the car and working from the bottom. I would definitely recommend this mod, worth it to tighten up the feel.

I have some extra shims if anyone wants a few.

Thanks for the help.
