I'm hoping 0.060" does the trick, what value did you settle on?

Trial and error until you get what you want.

Does anyone have a picture of a non-saginaw pump, for comparison for someone who doesn't know the differences?

if i remember right, i ended up around .140 thick which , with a 13 1/2" dia. steering wheel felt pretty good to me. your results may/will vary.

Ok, here's the update:

Added 0.060" shims as suggested in the Mopar Action article and that did the trick.
Steering is definitely firmer. Hardest part was doing the mod with the pump still on the car and working from the bottom. I would definitely recommend this mod, worth it to tighten up the feel.

I have some extra shims if anyone wants a few.
