It's just nice to see these cars evolve and NOT be forgotten.

Some has emailed me and taken up my offer and will hopefully be creating a great website for all us fans to follow the action and catalog pictures for easy viewing and downloading.

At this time I can confirm what you have read on the board, my car will be a stick-cuda with a new head and intake from MCH. Car is at the body shop getting some final work and will be painted shortly. We are still gathering engine parts. Our goal is to test the car in Sept. and attend a few races in Oct. like the Atco Div. 1 event, Dutch Classic, and possibly the Virginia National.

Happy Holidays,
Matt

That is a sweet pic, everything polished, detailed (1 red plug wire is a little weird but I have seen others run 2 red plug wires with the others being black )

I think those inner fender covers/tool holders are TRICK!!! I need to make some of those for my car.

I'm pretty sure the one red plug wire is to designate #1 when they are working on the car and have the wires off. Notice the firing order on the distributor cap.

They have those fender covers custom made out of fine corinthian leather.you have to see them in person,Smiths also have a guy that just keeps everything polish.West coast hemis team also have those covers.

I thought the same thing on the plug wires then I saw a couple of Westcotts motors that had red wires on cylinders 1 + 2.

It's something that's not to hard to keep track of in my opinion but it's probably part of the KISS program.

Hey mrnobodyracer, First thanks for all your posts on SS/AA (sorry SS/AH racing) PLEASE keep it up.

I thought that may be one of the Smith's cars judging by the detail.( but I was afraid to mention it and be wrong again) Next time you see Charlie ask him if the red wires are part of a mind game , voodoo type thing as he's gotta know Everyone is eyeballing his engines with a magnifying glass based on his DOMINATION of the class.

I am in awe how such a young guy who has been based in GM engines and who works a day job and does engines at night has become THE man in SS/AH. It's nice to see hard work rewarded.

Fine Corinthian Leather = too rich for my blood

On the Smiths... I was at the Mopar Nats (88 or 89 I think as I just got my drivers license) and Eddie and Mike show up with a huge rig with 3 or 4 Cudas , one they were running that day, the others were for sale. One of the rollers had all of the chassis work done but the entire body was still just bare steel. The body was PERFECT even where the wheel lips were stretched, not a hit of filler. One sight I will never forget. Them boys always have some real clean cars!

Here is a picture of charlie engine all red wires. You have to love those clear valve covers. You can blow all these pictures up just go down to the right hand corner and you will see the arrows to blow them up.
