I posted this in the general section, but I know that not everyone goes there so I thought I'd post it here also.

I got a flyer/card for an event for Mopars being held at Gateway/St.Louis next year.

It's supposed to be a done deal and the event is happening.

Phil Painter of MATS is the man behind it.

One side of the card is MATSLV, the other side of the card is for Gateway/St.Louis.

From the name change of Musclecars at the Strip rather than Mopars at the Strip and statement of "Fun Field separated by brands" I'm thinking the there will be all brands of Musclecars there.

Well their Facebook page still goes by "mopars at the strip", but they have been slowly opening it up over the years. Personally..... I don't have a problem with it.

That St. Louis event would be fun! Pretty central for sure!

Gateway is also hosting the Victory NSS finals that weekend.

so what's the odds of people showing up at this event? Never been there... but with fuel prices down, I'd love to venture east for some fun! I've crunched the numbers for the Mopar Nats and the time required off work and fuel bill is still a bit hard to choke down..... but I remember Phil showing up from NY in Vegas for MaTS on a diet of Marlboros and Mountain Dew with his Barracuda in tow.... that was pretty cool.

Makes more sense why Clay Kossuth had the flyer and gave them to me.
