Hi all!
pretty sure my sons Jeep needs oil in the tranny as with cold weather he is complaining about it being hard to shift into gear (hard meaning hard NOT grinding) and not being able to readily down-shift. it's a 94 YJ 2.5 so i'm guessing it is the AX-5. pretty sure it is on the passenger side but if somebody has a picture of it that would be a big help. the bolt i'm looking at is nearly impossible to get at with the skid plate on.

Try a quick "how to" search on google. That usually brings up videos.

thanks Stumpy! i did try that first but all i found were for the 6 cylinder AX-15. i'm thinking i might be better off just going to JiffyLube. i told him to get a manual for this Jeep but that suggestion went in one ear and out the other.....

From what I find the trans behind the 2.5 is an AX4 not a 5 but the AX4, AX5 and AX15 all fill in the same place. About half way up the drivers side of the front main section. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=ax+4...&FORM=VIRE1
