Anyone here running ribbed and v-belt crank shaft pulleys together due to adding a supercharger? Just curious what you may have done. I do not want to change everything over to ribbed or all V-belt. I have some ideas but wanted to see what some of you may have done.

Thanks,

- EM

I did it for my cousin's Firebird. Not sure exactly what he had, but he machined a ribbed pulley to fit inside a v-belt pulley (aluminum pulleys) and I welded them together.

Worked for a couple of seasons and then he went to a bigger ribbed belt pulley as he had slippage problems. Not sure where he got that setup.
