I'm really looking for some help with routing of my fuel lines. My project is a 68 Dart. I've installed frame connectors and am having issues with the routing of 3/8" fuel lines. Pictures and advice is appreciated. Thanks

I would use "Adel" clamps to fasten the line with high quality sheetmetal screws to the inside of the frame connectors to route it from front to rear

I put a 1/2 soft drawn aluminum fuel line from the local hardware store(25 ft roll up)on my 1969 Dart years ago, I mounted the electric fuel pump on the passenger side rear subframe down low towards the front of the sub frame so the pump would be lower than the bottom of the stock gas tank. I fed the pump with two pickups out of the stock sender, one 5/16 and I had another 3/8 pickup added to it thumbs. I fed them into a Moroso Y fuel block and then into the back of the pump, I ran the 1/2 inch line straight forward up through the trans cross member through a existing hole I enlarged with a Unibit thumbs I did fasten it to the floor and the front sub frame with adele clamps, I also installed a piece of 1 5/8 O.D. x .120 thick roll bar tubing 18 inches long beside the flywheel area per NHRA class requirements for bracket racing. I bought a piece of plumbing insulation for a 1/2 inch copper line and used it around the fuel line inside the roll bar tubing to keep it from rubbing and vibrating. I did fasten the roll bar tubing to the front sub frame also with plumbers tape whistling shruggy

I had alum line on a street car & it work hardened over time & leaked. Next one I would use steel and one of those special grades that is easy to bend. Maybe I did not have it (the alum) secured enough or used the wrong fittings & you might see what others have to say on that.

I use 3/8" aluminum fuel line & zip tied it to my existing 5/16" fuel line & just followed the same path. The aluminum line is cheap & easy to work with + the Mopar engineers figured out a very safe location (along the frame rail). Try not to make "too many" bends back & forth since aluminum will "work harden" as RapidRobert mentioned. You should be done in an hour.

Are you using re-pop factory style lines or bending up your own?

I went through this dilemma on my injected E with frame connectors. In the end I went with re-pop factory lines which fit great. May be different on an A though.

Yes, I went the re-pop way. Looks as though I'm going to have to cut them.
