Hey folks...I've been working on and off for 10 years on this car and I'm ready for a fuel tank but I don't know if this car had a 4 vent or 2 vent(?) tank. I see the reference to the E.E.C. identifier but I don't know what that means. If I used a 4 vent, not knowing what it came with, and should I only need 2 vents, can I plug the others? shruggy

EEC= Evaporation Emissions Control.

You can use either tank and just plug the lines that are not needed if you choose to get that style of tank.

For 1970 models - Regular tank UNLESS you have N95 on your fender tag, with N95 you had the tank with extra nipples.

YOU WILL ALOS KNOW IF YOU HAD N95 BUY CHECKING THE INSIDE OF YOUR TRUNK ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. CARS WITH N95 HAD A CANISTER TYPE DEVICE IN THE TRUNK NEAR THE INNER WHEEL HOUSE.

OK...checked the N95 angle and I don't have it on my data plate or the canister in the trunk. Anything else to look at on the rear underbody where the lines would have been attached? I'm pretty sure it wasn't equipted and therefore I would use the regular 2 vent line tank?
