Who makes a good low profile oil pan...Oklahoma roads are taking there toll on the Darts current pan that hangs way to far down !!

Surely someone makes a good low profile one !!

Considering that your headers may be custommade for the car you may or may not be able to find a pan that fits your partscombination out of the box.may be better of building your own.

Oh and that Dart looks sweet!

My Kevco pan has kickouts on both sides and sits about even with my tube K...... but learned the first time out at tracks with shorter shutdowns the oil psi drops despite the baffles and trap doors. Custom headers were made with this pan in mind.

Canton makes a nice pan for the small blocks and does not hang down that low

The above mentioned Milodon pan is nice. I have lots of miles on one in a low sitting 68 Barracuda, no problem not even in Oklahoma. It sits about 2" below the stock K frame.

This is one of my favorites of the car, taken on Drag Week this year in Union Grove Wisonsin. You can see the pan pretty good and how low the car is.

Milodon has 8 qt. and 7 qt. versions of the pan style pictured. The 7 would be better for the street. But I've also heard good things about their road race pan, which provides even more clearance. 340 and 360 versions. TTI headers fit with all of them. Some other brands/part numbers don't.

I own one and it won't be going on the car again before I do MAJOR work on it. Thanks to feedback from my Racepak I picked up on my oil pressure dropping down to ZERO during a pass. I bought it after I built a small block Chevy for a Friend and he had a Canton oil pan. It was so nice I bought one and it looked like crap compared to the Chevy pan. With my Milidon oil pan and Hedmen 1 7/8 headers I had to smash the heck out of 2-3 tubes. I will be re-routing those 3 tubes so I have clearance to put a diaper on my engine.

I believe mine pictured is the 8. I thought it was seven until my dad and I went to get a pan for one of his motors we built for my car. I measured my pan and it matched the dimensions they spec for the 8qt. Its about 18 years old so they may have changed the spec.

They've had the 8 qt. for a very long time. The 7 qt. is a new style that they added several years ago. This link shows 340 pans but Milodon/Summit has 360 versions as well. Just gotta do some research for header fitment.
