Friend of ours has a 5.7 Hemi Charger and just added a 6.1 Challenger to his stable. Would like to know what are the best add ons for the buck?

The best bang for the buck and performance would be a cam swap and a Diablo tune. The stock 6.1 head flows 300 cfm at 600" lift right from the factory. Once we swapped out a set of stock 6.1 heads for a set of ported 5.7 heads with larger valves that flowed 320 cfm at 600" lift and then epoxy matched the 6.1 intake to the 5.7 port. The port velocity on a 6.1 head is pretty lazy. We seen about 300 fps on the 6.1 compared to 340 fps from the 5.7. After the head swap (stock cam) the car ran 3 tenths faster and picked up 4 mph.

I just got finished doing a head, intake, throttlebody, and cam swap on a 6.1 jeep SRT.I just got it running today. It sounds good, but wont idle..I have not done the Diablo tune yet, which will happen Monday.

I got all my parts thru Arrington,I am using there stage 4 ported hemi heads..

Has anybody used any set-ups using there stuff? They seem to have great customer service.

You probably have one of Arrington's 571/556 113 LSA or their 571/574 115 LSA cams. BTW, their 115 will be easier to tune.

Get a Diablo and find a tuner that has the CMR software.
