Hi fellas,

I am ordering a set of TTI headers for my 67 340, 4-sp|eed Valiant. Their catalog lists a modification needs to be made on the Z-bar but doesn't elaborate, can someone tell me what this entails.

Thanks!
Joey

The lower end of the Z-bar most likely will contact the header tubes. I had this issue but bent the lower end of the z-bar slightly to clearance the header tubes. Took a few tries in n out to get it but finally got it.

I believe the mod piece accounts for the slight bend.

Mine wanted to hit the header pretty good, so I took 1/4 off that section of the z bar and used the mopar long adjustment rod and never had a single issue.

The changed angle of things never seemed to be a factor.

But if you can put the headers on you can easily sort out the z bar deal.

Here is a pic of the lower z-bar after mods w/respect to the header tubes. Not much room in there.
