There was a 4-door near where I used to live, pea soup green. Possibly the ugliest car I have ever seen. I am still trying to wrap my head around the idea that they are good-looking, haven't got there yet!
R. You overlooked one thing, red paint or red lipstick, will make anything look better. 
Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

Man, those 62's & 63's have 2 tents worth of ugliness built into them.LOL My best friend (who has long passed) always told me ugly cars are faster. In '82 I raced most of the season alongside 2 guys with a white four door post car (A/B?) with a 440. One day one of the guys come up to me and say "Watch this run". They were experimenting with Nitrous. First time I ever saw a car make an 8 second pass. I was still trying to break out of the 12's.
