Are pics close enough? 516-head, exhaustport; edit: Re-reading your post I see now you want exhaustport spacing measurements and such. My bad.

Thanks for posting that pic, I was about to cut a 516 head up. I want to compare it to a 346 head. Got a pic of the intake side?
Well, you're lucky. I had my pocketknife with me today and managed slice the intake port aswell
Overview how I made the cuts;

Thanks again.
I've got a messed up 346 I am going to cut this weekend. Intakes were ported into the water jackets, but the exhausts were untouched.
I used to care but....... things have changed

WEll, I TRIED cutting through the exhaust port on my junk 346 head, and got stopped stone cold at the oem exhaust seat. Anyone who says the oem induction hardened seats are hard, hasnt tried cutting them with a band saw.

Interesting side note/thread jack, I was at a show last summer and for the charity dinner auction there was the full engineering blueprint for a 426 hemi head. No joke, it was about 4 feet tall and probably 10 feet long. They didn't take CC's so all I had was the cash in my pockets but another bidder and I ran it up to about 600 before I had to bail. I'd have gone into the thousands if they'd have taken CC's or I'd brought more cash or the check book. Talking to the buyer after he said the same thing, he'd have gone as far as his bank account would allow too. It was awesome.
I can't afford this.

You should have offered to buy 50% interest in it and then gotten a copy made.
