Here is another option. Go to a good automotive paint store like the kind body shops get there supplies from. Most good size towns have one around somewhere. Most have records or computer files with thousands of color codes on hand for about every kind of car going back to the 40`s & 50`s. Tell them the color, make, model, and year of car and what the paint is for. Better yet if you have a paint sample take that with you too. Example: maybe a old can of paint. If that fails drive the car there. Good shops now have camera type scanners they can lay on a panel and it reads the color and comes up with a color match. They will mix the paint and put it in pints, qt`s and even spray cans of you wish. Best of luck.
