My 17 year old son would like to get a slightly more "throaty" sound from his 3.6 Challenger. Has anyone installed a Magnaflow 15099 system on their car? What else has anyone else done to get a better sound. We would really appreciate listening to your suggestions.

i have no experience with this, but if it has duels with the "suitcase" size mufflers at the rear, could you just remove them for a trial period and run just the cats and resonators to see what that sounded like ? if ok, and your states rules allow, maybe a local exhaust shop can bend up a couple of "tail pipes" in a few sizes bigger diameter to sub for the mufflers.[example : 2 1/2" to 3 1/2 or 4"] the bigger diameter should add some deeper tone, and would not cost much at all. many moons ago, we called this deal "echo cans". use the stock tips of course. just a thought and a bump.
