The shoot out at the Dutch last fall was a cool deal. Armstrong did out 60 the A cars but that was it. Final was anticlimactic as Armstrong did not make it down the track. Charlie had him covered anyhow. Like to see more of the TOP/SS.

You will in 2006, But if you go to NSCA race fords chevy, mopars all race heads up,Charlie holds the record for that class at 8.61 But its great heads up racing, the class is called PRO NOSTALGIA, try to make it to a race, there web site is nsca.com

We ran NSCA Pro Nostalgia for four years with my friend's Fairlane. Won in Atlanta. It's too bad that the sanctioning body doesn't promote this class like they should. It's like Superstock A and AA but with Chevys, Fords, Pontiacs, Mopars, and even an AMC or two! Got to meet Arlen Vanke the first event that we went to (he was running in Nostalgia Supeter Stock ). How cool was it for a lifelong Mopar guy to sit in the pits and eat with the man himself and listen to old racing tales !

I wanted to race in the Jegs Stock/Super Stock combo last year . If they do that again this year I plan on doing one. I've heard nothing but good things from the events.

as to barnetts engine builder,, i hope its warren.. for our age gap,, talking to him is cool,, youd think he act like im some punk kid . but i havent met too many people in his position who are as nice as he is, or just genuinely a good guy.. i hope their cars run fast. i think their projected date is to be running at the gatornationals for class. i know of a few more new hemi cars being built, but with so many its just another guy...

Wow I guess we got busted going through Stoney Creek?

The car is a work of art by both Smith Performance and Scott Jahren Custom Paint. Pictures don't do it justice. I hope I can finish it as nice it arrived on my doorstep. Now I'm on a mission to get teh interior into it and wire it to be ready for when the snow melts.
