Gonna buy a system on-line. Or at least price it. I know going to local muffler shop will be over $600 for dual exhaust on car.

Right now he has dumps and with winter coming I want the exhaust out from under the car. Anyone have any good sounding exhaust for a stock 318? He has glass packs now and shorty tail pipes, you can hear him.

Looking for maybe a borla or other system. No headers, I may not replace the head pipes. Trying to decide.

Anyone bought a complete system? How did they fit at manifold?

Went with flowmaster tail pipes from Summit. We'll see how it goes.

440 in my car, however I went and bought some 3" universal exhaust pipes for fairly cheap and spliced and diced as needed. Even with mufflers, clamps and brackets I don't think I had more than 300 into it.

if it were me, first I'd put on some 360 exhaust manifolds. then get an exhaust system made. Or buy one premade for a 71-74 with either 340 or 360 & duals. Someone should make that.

best iron manis are a 68-70 340 HP pass manifold 2863549 and a 92/early 93 magnum drivers manifold (has a 2&5/16" outlet). mandrel bends, 2&1/2 pipes. a 360 or 408 could find its way in there in the future. that eng has low SCR no quench, minimal cubes in a fairly heavy vehicle
