Putting in a new headliner (my first) in my 71 Satellite. Big dummy me didn't take note on the bow locations when I took them out months ago. So I have 6. 1 is longer than the other 5. All have a green marking on one end. Of the 5 shorter ones there are 3 marked in purple and 2 marked in pink on the other end.

In what order do they go back? Does the green need to be on a certain side? Did a little test fitting but figured it would be better to get info from someone that knows.

This is a 74 E body before I took it apart, gives you an idea where the long one goes.

Thanks for the pics. Kinda figured the long one went at the rear. The rest are a little tougher. Some I can get to roll against the roof nicely but others either bind up or don't hold the headliner tight regardless of which holes are used.

Just in case anyone needs to know... The purple bows are the first 3 then the pink ones go in the next 2 with the longest one at the rear. The front 3 sets of holes are lower to the top than the next 2 sets and beyond that it's just a matter of which one fits each location best. Even though I'm not sure if it's correct, all the bows seemed to fit better with the green marked end on the drivers side. Now its all about heating, stretching, and gluing!
