My pump died while I was on the road in Missouri.
Luckily there was a rebuilder nearby and he told me that it is more economical to rebuild than buy one, plus you don't know what has been replaced (if anything) in the rebuilt unit.
He fixed mine for less than it would take to buy a rebuilt unit and have it installed. I couldn't do the work since I was on the road so I had to have a shop take it off and put it back on but I watched him do it and the real issue is the injector tubes. One had to be replaced because it was stuck and twisted when it was taken off.
