He touches on several issues and topics ( ex: strokers, tuning, head flow) on the LS motor but muchbof it applies to ALL motors.

Dan first told Diamond that only 2 changes would be needed to fit one of their shelf pistons to my 4.08 stroke then he ended up changing there skirt measurments because my pistons come so far out the bottom. He also champhered the bottom of the bore. It wasnt done before. When I just had the pan off the skirts still like new. When you look at the pistons that were in my engine you can see how bad the skirt scraping was. I have all these emails from Dan explaining what changes he kept making to the pistons and read them from time to time. I miss that man

I hear that Ray, im curious what pistons were originally in yours? I wish I would of taken a pic of mine when I was building it, I can relate, and I remember telling myself "Damn those things are sure saying HELLO at BDC..."

Basically LS 101...very general information.

I like some of his builds but I've heard he's screwed a few of his customers over BIG TIME.

I think he gives a very concise explaination of the piston rock at BDC on stoker motors, better than most people have explained it, yes pretty basic but still worth a view

Good video.
