So...been a while. Just thought I'd stop by ...say HEY and let you all know what's been going on.
Well...I don't drive at all....well except the F-450 and 53' trailer dragging my boy all across the Western States Junior racing. Back in Mid July he won a National Junior Comp title at RMR Utah duing the JDRL Western Conference Finals. Went to 2 finals during the week...Runner up in Gambler...Winner of the BIG WALLY.

Then he went to 2 finals at ANRA in Bakersfield next race out...Won in J/C runner up in Junior Group 4.....

Then on to Las Vegas for the D7 Junior ET FINALS.... Missed being in both Wally Finals by -.008 in Junior...ended up winning Junior Comp Wally.. (Gold card...jacket...etc...etc..)

He's also been running the Hairy Canary 64 Valiant in Sportsman.. ended up 7th in points at Famoso in his first year....went to D7 ET Finals and went 3 rounds in SPortsman and Semi's for the High School title.

At the ANRA events he's driving 3 cars...Junior...Junior Comp and 64 Valiant in Sportsman...in 2016 He'll add my 68 Dart to a D/Gas ...thats 4 cars...one event... The kid LOVES to drive anything and everything. His ability to do so has caught the attention of Lucas Oil and DJ Safety. Both will provide support in 2016 to further his efforts. And just last week we decided to step up and add a 5th car to the fleet. In 2016 he'll also begin running S/C and S/P. We bought Cameron Ferre'(Racepak) S/C Boulton dragster. Got a 468 BBC to learn then will step up to a 632 in the future for some T/D stuff. At 17 he's living the dream.....and I'm working my tail off to provide as much support as I can. DJ Safety is building him a -20 suit for CH3NO2....as some car owners have expressed interest in getting him in the seat sometime in the future. We are racing a lot...having fun...going rounds...turning on win lights....until next time... Be .00 Take .00

1297cc Hayabusa.. we kill em on the 60'...LOL
Yes...very proud...he's won 4 Wally's this season in 2 different classes. And hopefully next weekend he'll add a Junior and Junior Comp Famoso track Champion title. Things have went great this year since I've stepped back and let him take over the entire tuning/dialing decisions...he maintains and repairs the cars himself. I just guide him and drive the hauler.

It's a class called Junior Comp... 6.90 index in 1/8 mile.... .500 pro tree ... he has a .009 avg light...no 2 step... just brings up the RPM's and hammers it (Slipper clutch)...then bangs the shifter button 5 times in 600'....its a blast to watch him go .002 6.904 3 times in a row.
Look him up on FB AJ THOMAS' URBAN MENACE

THANK YOU.....he's making a name for himself for sure.....we don't have the most money.....we just make the most of what we have. Lucas Oil and DJ Safety have stepped up. Working on a deal for (2) 632 BBC for his S/C dragster and a 493 for his Valiant from an engine company. All his doing.

Which type of motor, BB or SB , is in the Valiant now? How fast and quick does he want the Valiant to run in the 1/4? Them little narrow, short wheelbase, early A bodys may not like all that nose weight with a lot of HP confused shruggy

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

440...power disc brakes off of a 73 Scamp...11x3 drums out back (Tow package T&C wagon) exhaust is 361 truck manifolds turned to run out the front...the exhaust kills it. Runs 13.30s all day long. Runs on pump gas...7.6:1 77 smogger with a .509 hyd cam and 750 carb..came out of MH...got a cam change and went in the car...LOL
