Where can I find the clip for the fuel line connector that clips on to the fuel pump? It is a 2006 ram 2500. I hope I don`t have to buy a fuel line. I checked Dorman and they don`t show the one I need.

They'll try to sell the whole line. Got a pic of the remains? I may have one.

They might but they might just have the piece he needs. It doesn't cost anything but a little time to call.

I tried two dealers and yes they said I need to buy the whole line. I went to Advance Auto today and I found what I think is the correct clip. It was Needa? brand part number 800-023. It says Ford but the half I have matches up. Ruderunner if it doesn`t work I`ll post a pic. Thanks again for the help.

I've seem people use a wire for the same width as the slots in the end of the line and they seem to hold well. Never did myself but that's an option.

This is what I used on my 2005 5.7

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rnb-800-041?seid=srese1&gclid=CNWr5bnBrsgCFQ6saQodffELdg

that's 5/8

and yes, they were hard to locate for the application.

Tip, you can also use a small zip tie or tie-wrap. but for fuel, using the proper connector of the right material is best. To remove these, you simply push down on the top of it (the rounded part) and then pull back. this pushes the shoes down and out of their grooves
