Are they consistent with the cross-reference provided by Comp? Looking for any experience at all really.

Yeah, it's got a smallblock.

These things are great. You'll never go back to holley's. When you change sizes, whatever is stamped on the jet is the actual hole size.

Good to hear. Doing a re-tune of the carb and it looked like the 83's(Holley) I put in are bigger than the 84's? It was nice to have an option between 82's and 83 jets.

Yeah, it's got a smallblock.

If you want better use BLP jets. They have a wider range of sizes than Comp and have a secondary jet with the extension as part of the jet like it shows below.

Thanks Mark I didn't know BLP had their own series of main jets with extensions, looks good for the larger sizes when the jet and the extension are too close to the same size. I have used and like the Max jets

I use MaxJets in my 4150 carbs but I usually need the BLP jets for the Dominator carbs.

It does cost some money to get set up with a complete MaxJet kit. I think I spent $200 to get 4 of each size in the "normal" range for 4150 carbs.

I posted this up on Mark Whitener's forum a couple(?) of years ago and figured I'd drag it back up, considering the topic.
