If that's Commerce, Ga. it's no surprise at all. After dark it's a crap shoot, and a crap track. They only really prep about 100' of the track unless of course it's a national.

Kudos to the heads-up truck driver!

That was a two-for-one adrenalin rush deal.

Wow.
That would be a perfect little clip for a brake commercial.

The guy in the truck? He probably wasn't worried about it at all!

Ever hit anything with a full size Dodge Diesel?

Trust me, you will win....

Yikes!! Reminds me of when I was put up against a 10 second motorcycle with my 11 second Dart. The bike took off ahead of me, started wobbling and dumped it. The rider and bike ended up in front of my car while I was on it hard! I hit the brakes and my skinny front tires skidded right up to the guy I think we both needed a change of underwear after that.

I couldn't get my leg to stop shaking once I pulled it off the brake. Pheww....

I had that happen to me last time out...Fortunately the guy was behind me. Nothing quite like seeing the other cars rear bumper in your rear view mirror.
This after a kid in a Mustang Bullet lost it and wadded up his car, he was OK, but the car is junk.

I was ready to call it a day.

Yes that was pinks all out at Atlanta, and like Darren said when the sun sets the track pumps water, 2 years ago about same spot I got to see how well they painted that wall, without hitting it. JOhn

I had a guy in a little import truck come over the stripe and into my Ram. I had 305/60/16 tires at the time. The body of his import truck never made contact with my sheetmetal. There was a big circle tire mark on his B pillar like you see on the stock cars. The top of my tire mark was even with his neck height. He did the "lets play chicken" thing and lost.
