Putting back together T/A Challenger, all new harnesses, restored lamps. I have no instrument lights, park, sidemarkers, taillamps, license lamps-nothing. Headlights work, both hi/lo beams. Brake lamps work, turn signals work, backup lamp works. I'm thinking the switch or dimmer for instrument lights is bad? Who makes new e body switches?? Any rebuilders? Thanks

Have you tested the fuse?

you might pull the connector off of the headlight switch & jump 12V to the park/tail lights etc. I'd be a place to start to pin it down.

Yes, new doesn't mean good, I've seen fuses that visually look fine have a failure in the area hidden by the endcap....It's possible you have a minor short that will pops the fuse so just replacing it isn't the best option, instead teast it with a test light...Ground the clip & probe either end of the fuse, it should light at either end, if it light at one but not the other you have a bad fuse...
