I've been wanting some center caps for my 15x8 Wheel Vintique police wheels, but all reviews Ive seen for wheel vintique brand center caps suck, they are thin and flimsy. Is anyone else making them new? They look nice and the price is right on them. They work just fine when installed properly. I have two sets on both my Mopars. I have bent them when putting them on with the wrong technique, but have since learned the trick. You need to hook the mounting lip on two of the three rim catches for them. Now hold the cap firmly against the third mounting lip. The cap will deform slightly as it begins to stretch towards the outside of the lip. Then using the heel of your palm carefully along the outer edge, snap them over the third lip. If you hit them away from the edge towards the face at all, they will bend for sure. Once you do it this way a few times, you'll master the install and the caps work just fine.
