After many years, finally getting my '68 back together. I had the entire convertible roof frame apart, cleaning, painting, so now it is back together but badly out of adjustment. When lifting from the open position, it goes up a little crooked. Nothing appears to be binding, but still looking further.

I know the FSM has some good steps for adjusting, but was wondering if anyone has seen a decent website with the same? I am not finding any.

I am amazed how many adjustments there are and how they all interact.

FSM is the best source I have found. Went through same process with 70RR as I also had frame apart for restoring/repairing. Uneven movement might be a piston issue. If you get stuck, take it to someone who does upholstery for older cars.
